About the event
This is a safe & magical space for community, sharing, cooking together, laughing, maybe even crying if we need it, yoga & meditation, dancing under the stars, and connecting with our Selves & other beautiful souls ...all right at the belly of Mother Ocean's cleansing energy.
All who identify as women, are wholeheartedly welcome. This is a safe space to take down the walls, to take off the masks, to leave behind the "I'm fine's", and the small talk and Be ....exactly as we are, in this unique moment in time.
Each week we deepdive into juicy themes around what it is to embody the Divine Feminine.
We grow, we accept, and nourish our sacred Feminity in aaaall of its aspects - not just the ones societally expected of us.
This sacred time always includes a scrumptious homemade-with-love informal vegan supper. a sloooow rejuvenating yoga flow to release the week, a talk on a topic at hand which is then open to a sacred circle to explore all of our beautiful, magical, powerful minds... and lots of love.
Oct 22nd Week's Theme: On Beauty
We explore how the ever-changing & constructed notion of Beauty has plagued the feminine pscyhe, and determined woman's self-worth and placing in society, even, for millenia...Â
The myth of Beauty, and the cultural vs personal interpretation of it... From the male gaze, to the feminine gaze, to our own gaze in the mirror...Â
Our fleeting outer layer - the vessel we happen to land in - has had a profound effect on the inner, from our interpretation of the world around us, to its interpretation of us.
...By ourselves, by our immediate and extended families, and the ages and lands we happen to land in ...we explore its correlation to our feelings of self worth, validity, and our ability to feel worthy of taking up space.
Our physical vessels, and how they are perceived by us, the world around us and how we have grown or are growing into them...Â
Our journey to feeling at home in our first home...
We share as we feel to.
